Fans waited many years for Dead Island 2, the sequel to the classic first-person zombie killing game. This year, the game finally became a reality thanks to Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver. Teaming up with friends to battle the undead in 3-player online co-op is even more fun than before thanks to the well-written story, great graphics, and a killer soundtrack. That soundtrack is now available to buy and/or stream in a variety of platforms.
Dead Island 2 is a first-person melee-focused action RPG. The game picks up 15 years after the original. A zombie outbreak sets the state of California into chaos. A passenger on an evacuation flight becomes a zombie and starts attacking people, soon causing the flight to crash. Players will choose from six unique characters (all with distinct personalities and abilities) who survived the crash. They'll have to battle their way towards a mansion and fortify it to create a safe house. After doing so, players can join up in online co-op.
The Dead Island 2 Original Soundtrack was composed by Ryan Williams of Deep Silver Dambuster Studios. It contains 31 tracks, a suitable number for such a large action RPG-style game. The soundtrack sells for $8.99 at Amazon Music and other digital storefronts. You can also stream it at YouTube, Pandora, and Spotify.
