Gal Guardians: Demon Purge, the Castlevania-style co-op game starring twin sister demon hunters, first launched digitally on all platforms as Grim Guardians. Shortly thereafter, the title changed to the superior title that we have today. Publisher PQUBE also announced physical editions for PlayStation and Switch, and now those physical editions are available.
To celebrate the release of the physical editions of Gal Guardians, PQUBE released profiles of the three main characters:
Whether playing solo and swapping between the two Kamizono sisters at will or with two players each controlling their own sister in local co-op, Gal Guardians is an excellent modern take on the classic stage-based Castlevania formula.
The physical versions of Gal Guardians are available in both standard and Collector's Editions. The Collector's Edition contains:
- A special Collectors Edition Box
- A Physical copy of Gal Guardians: Demon Purge
- Origami Paper based on Maya's special ability
- A keyring featuring the Kamizono sisters
- A set of 5 A6 artcards
- A 40 page Artbook containing beautiful character art and game scenes
- A holographic acrylic standee with Shinobu and Maya in their demon hunting attire
Get the regular PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch editions of Gal Guardians for $39.99 each at Amazon. The Collectors Editions can be ordered for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch from FunStock UK for approximately $90 each.
