The WarioWare series caught the co-op bug a while back with WarioWare: Get It Together, and now it's coming back for more. WarioWare: Move It! will feature the series' trademark wackiness along with an expanded emphasis on motion controls. To spread the joy of waggling around in hundreds of new micro-games, the game promises 2-player local co-op and 4-player competitive hijinks.
Official description:
Strike a pose with a multitude of motion-based microgames in a brand-new entry in the WarioWare series!
Grab a pair of Joy-Con controllers and get moving as you gently shake, punch, dance, wiggle, and even curtsey through over 200 lightning-fast microgames (minigames that last just a few hilarious seconds). A second player* can use another set of Joy-Con controllers to join the treasure-guarding, sheep-twirling fun. Up to 4 players, each with one Joy-Con controller, can laugh out loud in the local Party Mode’s minigames like a dicey board game with Wario-style rules.
The new trailer showcases a tiny portion of the 200 microgames, including such activities as picking giant noses, bamboo slicing, sushi eating, ice skating, and even a sliding sequence based on Super Mario 64. Teaming up with a friend for co-op is where it's at, but the 4-player competitive board game mode looks like a good party game as well.
WarioWare: Move It! will arrive on Switch on November 3. Preorder it now digitally or physically for $49.99. In other Switch co-op news, Nintendo recently announced Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which is due in October.
