Baltoro Games is a European developer that makes a wide range of games, from the Pang-style arcade action of Knights & Guns to the time management of Pixel Cafe. One of my favorites of theirs is Urban Flow, a puzzle game about managing city traffic. Now Urban Flow is getting a sequel/spinoff called Train Traffic Manager. This one promises more 4-player co-op puzzles, and it's coming to Xbox and Switch this week.
Features:
- Strategic Puzzle Action: Harness the spirit of "Urban Flow" with over 80 levels of train traffic management.
- Dynamic Environments: Face down tornadoes, meteor strikes, and other cataclysms across multiple biomes.
- Versatile Gameplay Modes: Tackle Normal Mode's increasing complexity or survive against the clock in Endless Mode.
- Customization Galore: Choose your train's appearance to play in style.
In our Urban Flow co-op review, I praised the simple controls (traffic lights are mapped to buttons on the controller), wealth of puzzles, and co-op support. Some stages are better suited to 2-player co-op than 4 players, but the support for more players is always appreciated. The soundtrack was irritating, however, so here's hoping that the new game's music will be more pleasing.
Train Traffic Manager will cost $14.99 when it arrives on Xbox and Switch on Friday, November 24. Steam and PlayStation versions are planned for early next year.
