Vampire Survivors from Poncle is the little game that could. The $5 game continues to grow and grow, as evidenced by today's release of the Among Us-themed "Emergency Meeting" DLC. The $2.49 DLC adds a map set on an alien world, 9 playable characters, 15 weapons, and more! Naturally, the new map supports 4-player local co-op, making it a must-have all around.
"Emergency Meeting" DLC contents at a glance:
- a big map set on the scientific base of Polus Replica
- 9 new characters
- 15 new weapons
- 1 new Adventure
- 6 new music tracks
- 20 in-game-only achievements
- space ducks
The good news about the DLC is that you can play it right away, unlike the recent Adventures mode update that added new content that only high-level players can actually access. The new map here is called "Polus Replica." It takes place on a science station on an alien world. There, players will navigate maze-like buildings and outdoor areas.
The map is filled with mini crewmates to find. They're categorized as weapons, but they're tiny Among Us guys who run around and help you fight. Having them all displayed on the map (once you find the map relic) adds a greater sense of purpose than regular Vampire Survivors maps. You're always working your way to the next mini crewmate. And, of course, accomplishing various goals on the map will unlock actual playable characters as well.
Vampire Survivors sells for $4.99 on Xbox, Switch, and Steam. The "Emergency Meeting" DLC costs $2.49. This DLC is now available on Xbox, Steam, and mobile. It will arrive on Switch at a later date.
We'll have a full co-op review soon!
