'Nick Jr. Party Adventure' Will Squeeze Dora, Paw Patrol, and More Into One Big Game

Six of Nick Jr.'s preschool franchises will team up in this co-op platformer.

The folks at Outright Games are always developing licensed games, mostly based on kids' properties. Well, this time they've grabbed a bunch of kids' properties and rolled them up into a big ball of happiness. The result is Nick Jr. Party Adventure, a puzzle adventure that crosses over Dora the Explorer, Paw Patrol, Blue's Clues, and other franchises in one big platformer. The game will support 2-player local co-op, and it's due on consoles and PC in October.

Nick Jr. Party Adventure will feature characters from PAW PatrolDoraBlue's Clues & You!Blaze and the Monster MachinesBubble Guppies, and Santiago of the Seas. I've heard of three of those! Some of the game's 18 characters will include Dora, Blue, Chase, Molly, Santiago, Darington, and more. Players will also get to customize a personal avatar and equip it with unlockable items.

The premise of the game involves the various characters attending the Friendship Fiesta (or the Amistad Party, as it's known in Mexico). The game has "party" in the title, and some of the trailer footage looks kind of Mario Party-ish, but this isn't an actual party game. Instead, it's a puzzle platformer with 72 levels spread across six worlds. In some of those levels, players will face antagonists like Swiper, Crusher, and Mayor Humdinger.

Nick Jr. Party Adventure will come to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Steam on October 11.
