Last year, River City Girls, WayForward's seminal beat 'em up RPG, arrived on mobile through the Crunchyroll Game Vault. That partnership was such a success that WayForward is bringing three more games to Crunchyroll's mobile app: Dawn of the Monsters, RWBY: Arrowfell, and Spidersaurs. This is cool news for mobile co-op fans because two of those three games support local co-op. Dawn of the Monsters is available right now, and the other titles are coming soon.
Dawn of the Monsters
Dawn of the Monsters is a 2D beat 'em up set in a near future in which the Earth is threatened by gigantic monsters called Nephalim. With four playable monsters, wieldable weapons, an upgrade system, over 35 levels, and 2-player local co-op, it's a truly giant-sized beat 'em up. The character designs and artwork come from a who's-who of kaiju artists as well, making for an impressively authentic experience. Read our developer interview for more details!
The mobile version of Dawn of the Monsters requires a Bluetooth controller for 2-player local co-op.

Step 1: Make sure you're a Mega or Ultimate Fan Crunchyroll member. If not, you can sign up right here!
Step 2: Log into the Crunchyroll app and look for the Crunchyroll Game Vault section.
Step 3: Pick your game, head to your platform's app store and download.

...a single-player side-scrolling action-adventure based on the hit animated series. Featuring an original, in-canon story set during RWBY Volume 7, RWBY: Arrowfell lets players instantly swap between all four members of Team RWBY — Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long — to unleash the heroes' signature weapons and Semblances while defending Atlas and Mantle from a mysterious new threat. As fully licensed Huntresses, the quartet will complete quests, solve puzzles, battle massive bosses, and upgrade their Semblances while exploring 25 locations across the continent of Solitas.
RWBY: Arrowfell is single-player only. The mobile version will arrive on Crunchyroll later this year. The game is already available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Steam, where it costs $29.99. The Xbox and Steam versions are on sale for half off at the time of this writing.
