Two years after Season 6, the first part of Season 6 of Cobra Kai has finally arrived on Netflix. The martial arts drama continues the story of the Karate Kid films, depicting Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence's struggles to train new students and protect them from malevolent karate teachers and students. One of the two existing games from GameMill Entertainment, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, features 2-player local co-op. Both games are on sale on various digital storefronts, so now's a great time to jump in and start busting heads.
Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues
The first Cobra Kai game is the most exciting one for us since it has 2-player local co-op. Players can choose from two campaigns: one for the Cobra Kai dojo and one for Miyagi-Do. Each campaign features fully voiced cinematics starring some of the real actors from the show.
The first game is a 2.5D beat 'em up. Players will battle iconic characters from the show and also lots of random thugs and goons. Combat is surprisingly deep because there are tons of moves and grapples to do. Interestingly, some moves have fire and ice effects, so the game is taking some liberties with the source material. Still, from a quick play test, The Karate Kid Saga Continues looks like a decently fun game for fans of the franchise.

Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising
The second Cobra Kai game does not feature co-op, sadly. This one seems to be inspired by Sega's Like a Dragon games. Players will choose to run a dojo for one of the show's three factions (Eagle Claw is the third faction). It's still a 3D beat 'em up of sorts, but a little more ambitious in design, for better or worse.
