Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for December 2024

Happy New Year!

The Game Awards - which featured quite a few co-op titles this year - be damned: The biggest highlight of December for most of us was Path of Exile 2 entering Early Access. Even in this early state it seems to successfully scratch that itch the lukewarm reception of Diablo IV left behind. Hopefully it can keep up the momentum until release.

In other news: Its the start of the new year! So let's take a very brief look back at 2024. Since the main draw of Co-Optimus is our database (coming up on 15.000 entries!), we get many hits from search engines like Google. The following Top 10 shows the games that were searched the most this year on Google with the user landing on Co-Optimus:

  3. Palworld

  6. Nobody Saves the World

Honestly a bit of a surprising result. We wouldn't have expected that the console release of Medieval Dynastyy (by all account a really good medieval life simulator) would garner so much interest. And how did Nobody Saves the World on the list? While a very good Action-RPG, it did release in 2022 and hasn't received an update in over a year. So why the newfound attention? We don't know but are happy to see that even older titles are still relevant. After all: Our Database would be kind of useless if only the last six month or so were of interest :) .
