We generally enjoyed busting ghosts this summer with our friends, on both the 360/PS3 and the Wii. It looks like we weren't alone. Atari has announced that Ghostbusters the Videogame has sold over one million copies in North America alone.
The Wii version featured a two player split screen co-op story mode while the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version featured an online four player cooperative mode. The press release from Atari quotes a bunch of online outlets who aren't quite as awesome as us - so I thought we'd quote our own reviews.
Jim McClaughlin - "Ghostbusters crashes the action game genre by reminding us why we love games that try to recreate our favorite classic action moments, be it on the big screen or in our backyards. "
Katrina Pawlowski - "Smoothe controls, coupled with Ghostbusters-esque humor makes Ghostbusters wholly satisfying to sit with a friend and play."
Put that on the box Atari.
