Puzzle Quest 2 Coming
Gamepro will be unveiling Puzzle Quest 2 in its next issue. After the side project that was Galactrix it's good to see them going back to what brought them to the party in the first case. The first picture looks like it will be at least coming to Xbox 360, although one wonders whether it will be a downloadable game or a full release. One would guess it will come to other systems as well just like the original.

First Uncharted 2 DLC Out Now
The first multiplayer DLC download for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is now out called "The Fort". The map is supposedly based on The Fortress section of the game. They also said it would be a Double Buck weekend, meaning you score double the money for every action finished.

Mercs Inc. Announced
EA announced this week after a short leaked teaser that Mercs Inc. is indeed being worked on at EA LA. This was formerly a Pandemic release, but since the closing of the studio, it has been taken over by EA LA. Now, they do note that key people that worked on Mercenaries 2 are also working on this, so we now wonder how many people were offered jobs at EA LA. This game will be a 4-player multiplayer game in the same type of gameplay package as the other games.

Just Cause 2 Coming March 23, 2010
Adding to the already busy first three months of 2010 is the release of Just Cause 2 on March 23. Stuff shown at E3 this past year made the game look pretty interesting and Eidos' new life under Square-Enix will see its first actual release.

Assassin's Creed II Sells 1.6 Million in First Week
Good news that Assassin's Creed II sold 1.6 million copies in its first week. The game is an excellent one and easily better than the first. This bodes well for the sequel and should fill the coffers enough to get the third game to us, not that it was in doubt.
