Monday Night Combat isn't just getting a title update, it's getting free DLC. This info comes via the official Uber Entertainment blog which details the Spunky Cola DLC coming in November.
The content will contain two new maps - the Spunky Cola Arena for the game's Crossfire versus mode and the Survivitol Arena for the game's co-op Blitz mode. Also being added, and only playable in the Survivitol Arena, is a new form of Blitz called Super Sudden Death Blitz. There's no details on exactly what the new co-op mode is like, other than this description:
Only in the Survivitol Arena will you be faced with the deadly, the intense, the incredibly frantic Super Sudden Death Blitz!
Our guess is a constant and brutal assault by large slabs of bacon that your team must work together against to survive.
Other updates in the DLC include various game tweaks and a bunch of new options for Private matches. Finally the blog post ends with what may be the most disturbing thing you'll see all day - nay - all week. And that includes all the spooky costumes you'll see this Halloween.
Lets just say it involves a certain green and yellow character who likes to dispense money...and bacon...lots and lots of bacon. Looks like someone forgot to dress for work today.
