It looks like we've been slacking on our Wii research, as a beautiful version of a classic comes to light. Sonic Colors has shown its face recently, complete with two player co-op campaign that really looks like a world of colorful fun.
We found some of the video footage showing off co-op, and we're really impressed with what we see. Basically it seems like you'll play as either Sonic or his red counterpart Knuckles. The two are very evenly matched in speed and style, so you won't have to worry about falling behind the fastest blue hedgehog in the world as with previous titles (sorry Tails).
Sonic Colors has also taken a hint from its predecessor games, moving back to a primarily side-scrolling style. Though, there are still a few 3D sections that we're not quite sure about.
