Playstation Move Heroes, SOCOM 4 and Motorstorm: Apocalypse Gets Dates
Sony dropped some dates this week on a few exclusive games for the PS3. Playstation Move Heroes, the game that will allow you to play with Ratchet, Clank, Jax, Daxter, Sly and Bentley from various Sony produced franchises, will release on March 22. SOCOM 4 got an open ended release of the month of April with the promise it would be released that month and Motorstorm: Apocalypse was given a release date of April 12.

Bulletstorm Demo Drops January 25
People Can Fly’s Bulletstorm will see a demo dropped on January 25. It will include a section of the “Echo” mode and allow you to get early access to some weapons in the multiplayer “Anarchy” mode when the game releases on February 22.

PSP2 Rumors Begin to Fly
Rumors are flying surrounding the possible impending announcement of the PSP2. There are rumors that Sony will announce it this month at a press conference in Tokyo on January 27. There are also rumors that Sony is pegging it with being as powerful as the PS3 and that it will include physical media of some sort. This is not surprising since supposedly developers have had the PSP2 prototype for close to a year. Honestly I’m not sure how big the PSP2 is going to be, it needs fantastic games to be popular…one of the biggest reasons the PSP never really took hold when faced against Nintendo’s DS systems. Now they have to contend with the 3DS, but once again it is all about the games.

F.E.A.R. 3 Delayed
F.E.A.R. 3 sees another delay, this time from March to May. Will it make that date? Who knows.

LittleBigPlanet 2 and Mass Effect 2 on PS3 Highlight Releases This Week
The PS3 gets a nice solid release week this upcoming week. LittleBigPlanet 2 and Mass Effect 2 both release for the platform. It will be very interesting to see the sales numbers on both of these, especially the latter one to see if there is any interest in it at all from the PS3 version with the third game coming later this year for all platforms.
