One downloadable game that may have snuck past everyone late last year in the holiday rush was Hoard. The PSN "dragons are the good guys" title was quite good, though the co-op was so limited as to be very disappointing, as you can read about in our review. It turns out slaying knights, kidnapping princesses, and burning down buildings with a co-op buddy gets a bit old when there's only a couple maps.
But we just received word that Hoard is coming to a PC near you. This is certainly good news for dragon fans (and really, who isn't a dragon fan?) who don't own PS3s, but may be great news for co-op fans. After all, PC games are known for their mods, and if there is a game screaming for a some user-created content, Hoard is definitely it. No word on price details, but Hoard will be available via Steam on April 4. Better get your scales polished, your horns sharpened, and your antacid pills ready!
