Do you remember Titan Quest? Did you like Titan Quest? Of course you did. The makers of Titan Quest went on to form Crate Entertainment, and that development studio has been hard at work on a title called Grim Dawn. We have a new video of the game in action. It looks very Diablo-esque. Grim Dawn can be viewed as a spiritual successor to Titan Quest. The game is still in its early stages, but the combat footage looks promising, if bloody chunks are your thing. No word on how co-op will be supported, but the game's website at least acknowledges co-operative play:
Connect with old friends or make new allies in glorious multiplayer. Specially balanced multiplayer encounters will put your teamwork to the ultimate challenge.
Grim Dawn is still in its pre-alpha phase, but the developers want their fans to be "involved in the development of the game and to watch as things progress." This openness is a refreshing change of pace for a game studio. We'll keep you posted as we get more news.
