Being careful while reading a press release has never been easier than when Twisted Pixel announced a partnership with Home Depot to deliver a Gunstringer Marionette Controller. The project was originally codenamed "Project 144in. x 1-1/4in. Pine Round Dowel," and at first I was like "...What the?" And then I remembered what day it is.
Gunstringer is the first title by Twisted Pixel to arrive on the Xbox Kinect and is rumored to have two player co-op. Complete with Twisted Pixel brand humor (which we loved in 'Splosion Man) which seems to have seeped beyond the realm of games to bring us the above photo. This is how April Fool's should be done, obvious joke with a Twisted humor to it.
Poor Nick is still bummed about this one. Well played Twisted Pixel, well played.
