Celebrating in the middle of the race track proved to be an error of judgment
Formula One is one of the most glamorous sports in the world; a plaything for the rich and famous. Therefore, as Co-Optimus' most glamorous member, it has been fallen to me to inform you that the latest F1 game, excitingly called F1 2011, will have a co-op mode. So far the only details are from Codemasters' official statement:
In F1 2011 players will be challenged to 'be the driver, live the life, go compete,' with wide-ranging technical and gameplay advancements on and off track and vastly extended competitive and co-operative multiplayer components.
The most obvious co-op mode is one were two players work together to bring the Team Championship to their garage. However, F1 is a sport known for drivers smiling with their teammate in front of the cameras, but secretly undermining them in the background. Can Codemasters create a true co-op mode in one of the world's most competitive individual sports?
To help develop the game and the co-op mode, Codemasters are inviting fans to send questions to them via YouTube. Fans who ask the best questions (or possibly the ones that fit their publicity) will be invited to the Codemasters studio to hear the answers. I for one am practicing my increasingly dated Murray Walker impression just in case I am chosen:
And there Offffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
