While the Battlefield 3 beta won't contain any co-op, it is a good chance to get a feel for the game and check out the Battle Log online system. The multiplayer beta for Battlefield 3 kicks off tomorrow on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and while the former two won't require any manual intervention to run other than downloading it, you might want to get your PC in shape today by updating your drivers.
NVidia has just released version 285.27 of their drivers in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors. These are the ones you're gonna want to be running if you plan on checking out the beta.
Not to be outdone, AMD have released preview version 11.10 of their Radeon drivers which contain enhancements for the Battlefield 3 beta as well.
As a reminder - here are the recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3. You might just want to hit up NewEgg right now. Here's NVidia's video card analyzer to give it to you straight.
