Domain name registrations often give away the titles of upcoming games and other properties. To that end, the super sleuths at Fusible have dug up a spicy bit of news: Activision just registered a ton of Skylanders domains. From these we discover that the next Skylanders game will very likely be called Skylanders Giants.
The list of Skylanders Giants domains includes:

A new Skylanders game (possibly arriving in 2012) shouldn't be too surprising to anybody. Activision is the company known for pushing out sequels to games every year until either the brand or the very genre burn to cinders. Not that more Skylanders would be a bad thing! The toys continue to sell like hotcakes, with two new adventure packs (Empire of Ice and Dragon's Peak) and a choice three pack (Whirlwind, Double Trouble, and Drill Sergeant) currently rolling out to stores. My daughter and I still have a blast with the game as well.
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure supports 2 player local co-op on the same screen. Check out our full co-op review for all the details. As for Skylanders Giants, we'll be sure to let you know when we learn more.
