Remember Trine 2? It launched back in December on the XBLA, PSN and PC here in the United States, but in Europe the PlayStation Network version never saw the light of day. Delay after delay came and soon three months had gone by. But now the time is finally here to get your hands on Trine 2, the slick three player co-op physics based puzzler.
The good news is, despite the wait, you're in for some goodies. First, the game is available at a discount of 30% off for its first two weeks. Better yet, if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you'll get the gorgeous game for the low low price of FREE. What exactly caused the delay we can only speculate on, we're told its because the game failed some localization certification with Sony. We know the real reason behind it though - somebody forgot to take the proper sized passport photo and then when they finally sent the application off - they forgot to include the return postage.
Happens. Every. Time.
Trine 2 features three player online and local co-op, including combo co-op. You can read our review of Trine 2, based on the PC version, right here. Hint: we gave it a good score.
