Metal Slug Series and SNK Shoot-em-ups Half Off This Week on Xbox Live

Get Trouble Witches Neo, KOF SKy Stage, and more SNK classics on the cheap.

The new Xbox Live Deal of the Week should bring tears to many an SNK fan's eyes. Most of the Japanese publisher's Xbox Live Arcade games are on sale, which means there's co-op deals to be had! Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug XX, Trouble Witches Neo, and KOF Sky Stage all support 2 player co-op, and they're all half off for Xbox Live Gold members.

The following Xbox Live Arcade games are on sale from 04/03-4/09:

  • Hydro Thunder Hurricane - 1200 600 MSP
  • Metal Slug 3 - (2 player local/online co-op) - 800 400 MSP
  • Metal Slug XX - (2 player local/online co-op) - 1200 600 MSP
  • King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match- 800 400 MSP
  • King of Fighters 2002 Ultimate Match- 800 400 MSP
  • KOF Sky Stage - (2 player local co-op) - 800 400 MSP
  • Trouble Witches Neo - (2 player local/online co-op) - 800 400 MSP

This marks the first time that Metal Slug XX has gone on sale. Anyone else picking it up? As for the shmups, Trouble Witches Neo is a side-scroller, while KOF Sky Stage scrolls vertically. Trouble Witches is the far more impressive shooter, but they're both so cheap that you can't go wrong.

As stated before, the sale runs through Monday, April 9 and is open only to Xbox Live gold members.
