If you needed a reason to go out a buy Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge for the Wii U this holiday season, this is it. Just watching Ayane as a flipping and twirling ball of ninja death is more than enough to convince us to try this game out once on the Wii U.
Ayane looks like a whole ton of fun to play as than her familiar counterpart, Ryu Hayabusa from this video, dodging bullets and chopping enemies in half. That doesn’t mean that Ryu isn’t also very spectacular to watch as well. At 0:57 specifically, we are glad to see Ayane doing her part as a co-op partner with Ryu, as the two of them work together to slice and dice all the baddies as one, badass ninja team.
Just to clarify: Ayane will be featured in her own chapters of the game’s storyline, but can also be played in any character mission (including Ryu’s) through a separate game mode. More characters will be added via DLC post release, as per Team Ninja’s design.
Look for Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge for the Wii U in retail stores this November 18th.
