A new piece of DLC is headed to your PC, PS3, or Xbox 360 soon, in the form of a couple new decks for Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013. (If there's a game in our database with a longer name, I'm not sure what it is.) These two new decks follow hot on the heels of the five released back in September. Tying into the paper Magic release of Return to Ravnica, the new decks are themed around two of the Ravnica guilds.
A deck based on the red/white Boros army, "Act of War", includes small, efficient beaters to strike fast against your opponents life total, with a suite of removal and direct damage spells to clear the way for your team. The second deck, "Sky and Scale", is a blue/green deck based on the "mad scientist" Simic guild. The deck includes plenty of card drawing, nifty tricks, and token generation for all your crazy experimental needs. The release date for this second DLC Booster Pack is unannounced, but might be as early as today. Planeswalkers, keep your eyes peeled and $3 to cover the cost of the DLC handy just in case.
