Pre-order bonuses for Gears of War: Judgment have started popping up. The first goodie that was announced on Major Nelson's blog is the Classic Hammerburst. If you have nostalgia for the classic Locust weapon, or just need to have all of the guns, a pre-order will add it to your multiplayer arsenal along with some retailer-specific content.
Making its debut in the original Gears of War the Hammerburst was the most common weapon you saw amongst the Locust forces. In the teaser video showcasing the weapon, it totes a highly accurate six round burst that packs a punch. Being a big fan of the Hammerburst, I usually pick this over the COG assault rifle as I would rather take out enemies from afar than get up close with a chainsaw bayonet.
Retailer specific content from the big 3 (Gamestop, Amazon, Best Buy) was also teased in the blog post, but only Amazon has their details up. In addition to the Hammerburst, pre-ordering through Amazon nets you the Young Dom multiplayer skin. Be sure to check the retailer websites to find out more pre-order info, we will keep you posted as they are revealed as well.
Judgment is set to release on March 19, and features four player co-op.
