Starting today, Guardians of Middle-Earth joins the PS3's Instant Game Collection, the system that offers games for free to Playstation Plus (PS+) members. As long as you remain a member, you'll be able to play any of the cycling titles that you've downloaded for absolutely free.
GoME joins a pretty respectable co-op line-up, as the PS3 Instant Game Collection also currently boasts LittleBigPlanet 2, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, PAYDAY: the Heist, and Dungeon Defenders. Sony is also offering a deal through March 4th where if you purchase a year's subscription of PS+, you get three bonus months for free. This subscription can, of course, be tacked onto the end of an existing subscription.
GoME supports 5-player online co-op in a players vs. AI set-up. If you missed our co-op review, be sure to check it out. We found it to be accessible and a whole lot of fun.
