We would argue that the New York Giants are the most popular teams to rebuild because fans know the team's potential with a few key draft decisions and trades. In real life, the Giants simply aren't making them. It's no secret they've struggled to recapture their Super Bowl-winning days, but you probably wouldn't have found the New York Giants in title-contending predictions in the 2023 season, given their poor performances.
And, with fans becoming more accustomed to seeing betting odds as a way to assess a team’s current quality, any betting tips specific to New York and its headline teams have had to tackle the awkward truth of the Giants’ recent performances. However, in terms of the roster's potential, the Giants are the best team in Madden 24.
You've got Dexter Lawrence at the heart of the defensive front - and recently selected for Bucky Brooks' All-22 Team - and the young Kayvon Thibodeaux as a solid linebacker. Then you've got the side that struggles. You've got Daniel Jones, who can't carry the weight of being a franchise quarterback. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are on the other side - the AFC West - but it would be wrong not to talk about the Chiefs because they're massive. The Netflix series 'Quarterback', the Travis Kelcey/Taylor Swift romance, and the Kelcey Brothers podcast have put the Chiefs in the global spotlight.
The Chiefs are rated the best team in Madden 24, as always, with a 92 overall rating under the wings of Patrick Mahomes. Any gamer who knows anything about Madden will probably pick the Chiefs.
With Mahomes leading them, Kelce as the tight end, and brute forces on either side, the Chiefs are a deadly and potent offensive team. Their defense is huge, thanks to massive players Chris Jones and Nick Bolton. If, as a gamer, you don't want to spend months chewing and crumbling some franchise's success with a very elaborate rebuild, go for the Chiefs in Madden 24 instead.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are the second-highest-rated team, with an overall rating of 91. They're in the NFC East - same as the Giants. They finished 2nd in the 2023 season.
We'd say the Eagles are one of the best teams to play in Madden 24. They have a squad of warriors on both sides of the field. You've got the dual-threat quarterback Jalen Hurts, and AJ Brown and Devonta Smith as elite receivers. Or there's Darius Slay on wideouts and an aggressive Fletcher Cox to make an incredible defensive line. It's no wonder they played so well in the 2023 season.
There are a lot of things that you can do with the playbook in this game for the Eagles - some would say you don't need to do anything at all. The team alone and the defensive strategies you can use should bring plenty of wins. The Eagles are most suited for players wanting a well-built and ready-for Super Bowl battle team - maybe with a few minor changes.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals is one more team in the Madden 24 players' log for players wanting to build a young and effective team, currently playing in the AFC North division.
With Joe Burrow as the quarterback and Ja'Marr Chase as the offensive leader, the Bengals have perhaps the most devastating offense in the game. There's no denying that Joe Burrow is Madden's Elite quarterback, although Chiefs fans will say it's Mahomes.
For the defense, you've got DJ Reader and Trey Hendrickson always performing well. Unlike the Eagles or Chiefs, the Bengals' roster has more areas where you can add talent and make a massive impact - similar to the Giants - for example, in the offensive line and the secondary. It's the perfect team that is aggressive but not quite there, putting it on our list of rebuilds in Madden 24.
Who would you pick as your rebuilding team? In our opinion, it'll always be the New York Giants. There's so much potential and so much history. They're the sweet spot of being challenging but with enough room for success.
