CCV: World of Warcraft Collector's Editions

I have to use a stock photo of my collector's edition because I no longer own it! I usually stay far away from collecting any more clutter than I need. I often sell my old games on ebay for quite a good kickback (I'm not very wealthy, please don't hate). I have to say I'm a sucker for some of the statues in collector's editions but I hear the quality is quite poor. In nomral circumstances I do not purchase special edition games.

What drove me to buy the Warcraft Collector's box was the fact that it had a mini diablo pet for my in game character. I always love special editions that give something unique to set your character apart form others (really only applicable in multiplayer games for me.) And I have to say this edition served me quite well. The soundtrack was great in my car when I was having warcraft withdrawl. The art book was a great coffee table book for my nerd den. And the pet did in fact get a ton of attention and helped add quite a bit of value to my character when I decided to sell him as well. Finally, after the account was long gone and I only had the physical box left, people actually paid money for those items on ebay as well. So I got quite a bit of money back years later for just buying the collector's edition.

I know this doesn't hold true for 90% of special editions out there, but this particular one was quite awesome during my addiction to Warcrack.
