Borderlands Xbox Live Co-Op Night and Contest

Millions of weapons are not enough.  You still find yourself heading back into the world of Borderlands, hungry for the sniper rifle that does acid damage while providing you with a healing bonus.  You know it's out there, you just need to find it.

We're heading back into Borderlands this month for our Xbox Live Co-Op Night - with a special focus on the DLC...ALL of it.  That's right: The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi's Thunderdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, and Claptrap's New Robot Revolution will all be up for the conquering.  It's perfect for those of you picking up the Game of the Year Edition.  Combine that with the impending level patch on October 12th - and October 14th is the perfect day to level up your character in good ol co-op fashion.

The festivities kick off at 8PM Eastern and go till the wee hours of the morning.  To join up you can simply use the game's built in matchmaking - or - look for the following gamertags below.  The last two tags you can utilize the friends of friends feature to find other folks looking to play.

SteelSeries has provided us with 3 headsets to give away for Co-Op Night.  This Xbox compatible headsets are the SteelSeries Spectrum 5xb which support both audio and voice for killer co-op gaming.

The SteelSeries Spectrum 5xb is a premium quality, wired headset designed for Xbox 360®. At a glance it is a versatile, durable, travel-friendly headset. If you’re trying to take your game Xbox 360® gaming to the next level, or you are getting harassed at home because of the noise level while gaming, you may just fall madly in love with our Spectrum 5xb.

The best part about the headset is the on-controller mixer that allows you to adjust the game volume and voice volume independently.  No more struggling to hear your co-op team mates while taking down claptrap enhanced midgets in Borderlands!

To enter to win you just need to leave a comment below, leave your Gamertag below, or participate in co-op night!  We'll draw three winners on Friday, October 15th.

This contest is open to North American resident only - please see Co-Optimus contest rules here.
