In the two player game mode (using a Link cable), one player takes control of Masato (offense), the other of Mizuki (defense).
Description
The sequel to Fortified Zone was never released outside Japan. It is once again a top-down action game featuring the special agents Masato Kanzaki and Mizuki Makimura. This time around their mission is to infiltrate a secret base in order to destroy "the ultimate weapon".
The main differences to the first game are the addition of diagonal movement and no more power-ups. Instead the effects of power-ups have been converted into differences between the two soldiers..
