The update brings faster loading, crash fixes, and more to the bug blasting sci-fi shooter.

Earth Defense Force 6 Finally Gets an Update on Steam

I don't want to get too big for my britches or anything, but sometimes we games journalists have a lot of sway in the industry. For instance, we just published our Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 co-op review today, and on the very same day, D3 Publisher finally updates the Steam version of Earth Defense Force 6. Coincidence? I think not! The update fixes a killer crash that afflicted some AMD Radeon users, reduces load times, and more. You're welcome, EDF fans! ;)

The blocky brothers and sisters are back to battle aliens and save Voxel Earth.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 - Co-op Review

Earth Defense Force spin-off games have been hit or miss. EDF: Insect Armageddon wasn’t much of a game, and EDF: Iron Rain was too tough for its own good. EDF: World Brothers, however, struck the right balance between new ideas and classic EDF gameplay – not to mention adding the fun of crossover characters and enemies from EDFs past. T...

The second Lonely Mountains game is snow joke, especially since it features online co-op.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders Arrives on Xbox, Game Pass, and Steam

There was only one thing wrong with Lonely Mountains: Downhill, the mountain biking game: it wasn't co-op. Thankfully, developer Megagon Industries has rectified that issue with Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, the skiing-themed sequel. The new game features a cute and attractive art style, intuitive controls, and online co-op. It's out now on Xbox and PC, and the Xbox version is available on Game Pass too.

More spooky zombies are coming soon to Black Ops 6!

'The Tomb' Map Is Coming to Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 6 Zombies on January 28

Since it arrived in October, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been getting a steady stream of content updates. Most excitingly for us here in Co-op Land (TM), the game's round-based zombies mode got a third map and the slightly easier "Directed Mode" not too long ago. Still, more is always better, so three maps isn't enough! Luckily, a map called "The Tomb" will be added on January 28. That's not too far off!

The popular World War II-era sniping series gets a single-player mobile version.

Sniper Elite 4 Launches on iOS, But Without Co-op

The Sniper Elite series allows players to enjoy the thrill of sneaking around during World War II and sniping Nazis. Hey, they deserve it! Although the series is up to part 5 now (which I badly need to play!), Sniper Elite 4 has just launched on iOS. It can be played on iPhone, iPad, and even Mac. The only downside to this news is that the 4-player online co-op of the console and PC versions didn't make the cut for the Apple versions.

After first launching on consoles, the "Double Dragon DLC" is now on PC too.

The River City Girls 2 'Double Dragon' DLC Finally Arrives on Steam

In November, the console versions of River City Girls 2 received the much anticipated "Double Dragon" DLC, which adds Billy and Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon as playable characters. The Steam version, however, didn't get the DLC or the accompanying free update at that time. Thankfully, Steam gamers won't have to wait any longer: the DLC is out now on PC. Are you ready for some Double Dragon action?

Play as Billy and Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon in River City Girls 2!

River City Girls 2: Double Dragon DLC Review

Both of the main River City Girls games from WayForward have featured cameos from the Double Dragon series in the form of shopkeepers. River City Girls 2 even made Marian an unlockable character. Still, fans have always longed for more Double Dragon content in RCG 2. Now they finally get their wish thanks to the "Double Dragon DLC." The paid DLC adds Billy and Jimmy Lee as playable characters, essentially transforming RCG 2 into a weird, awesome Double Dragon game.

Kunio and the River City team are back in ancient China to kick more butt.

That's Right, River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next Is Out Now on Console and PC

Sometimes you get so busy that life just flies right past you. That's why it's important to stop and smell the roses. One game that looks very rosy is River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next, the sequel to River City Saga: Three Kingdoms. The first game blended historical drama with the addictive beat 'em up/action RPG gameplay of the River City/Kunio-kun series, and the sequel promises throws in motorcycles for good measure. It's out now on PlayStation, Switch, and Steam.

Get Warframe's Predecessor, Dark Sector, Free on Steam Through November 30

It has been a while since we checked in on Warframe, the space ninja-themed free to play MMO from Digital Extremes. Well, a quick glance shows that not only is Warframe still going strong, but the developer has a new game called Soulframe in development as well. Many of us have played Warframe at some point over the years, but far fewer gamers have tried Dark Sector, the single-player action game that takes place earlier in the Warframe timeline. Well, Dark Sector is free on Steam from November 27-30, so now's a great time to grab it up.

At last, the TMNT roguelike is out on PC, and it even features matchmaking and cross-play.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Is Now Kicking Shell on Steam

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is a TMNT-themed roguelike from Super Evil Megacorp. Originally an Apple Arcade game, Splintered Fate made the jump to Switch back in July. Not long after, the Steam version was announced. Now it's finally here, and it's still a kick-butt Ninja Turtles experience. Splintered Fate supports 4-player local and online co-op, plus cross-play with existing versions, so finding a foursome will be cinch.

The Double Dragon DLC for River City Girls 2 Will Bust Heads on November 12

WayForward's River City Girls 2 has been out for nearly two years now, but new things are still in store for it. The highly anticipated "Double Dragon" DLC was announced back in April without a release date. Well, it turns out that release is nearly upon us! The "Double Dragon" DLC will be released on November 12, adding two new playable characters and more. A free update will arrive at the same time, so everybody's River City Girls 2 experience is about to get better.
