River City Ransom (known in Japan as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari) is a highly influential beat 'em up RPG from 1989 that has seen numerous ports and remakes over the years. I'm partial to the PC Engine version, myself! Back in 2017, an enhanced remake of Ransom was released on 3DS called River City: Rival Showdown. That game is now heading to PlayStation, Switch, and Steam in October with both local and online co-op!

In an announcement video put out earlier today, Capcom slapped a fancy ol' release date (August 29th) on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Resident Evil: Revelations. While it initially slipped under our radar when it was first revealed this past March, Kirby: Planet Robobot will be available this Friday, June 10, and features a rather neat co-op mode. Up to four players can work together to bring down bosses in a mode that combines the series' "inhale and copy" mechanics with an RPG.
