The Battlefield series traditionally hasn't had much in the way of co-op gameplay, but that'll be changing next week with the introduction of the Combined Arms mode to Battlefield V.

Battlefield V launched back in November 2018 with only a couple of the gameplay modes that were initially discussed/revealed with the latest entry in the Battlefield franchise. One of the modes that was missing was the cooperative "Combined Arms," which would let you team up with three friends to complete a mission. DICE finally announced a few days ago that that mode will finally be coming to the game as part of the "Lightning Strikes" content sometime next month.
September will soon be upon us which means the best parts of the year are just around the corner; pumpkin spice everything, Halloween (which seems to be starting mid-August now), crispy and/or crunchy leaves on the ground, caramel corn as well as caramel apples and, best of all, my birthday. September also brings a new batch of free games to celebrate with Xbox’s Games With Gold, though sadly, only one co-op title in the bunch: Battlefield 3.
If you live in the U.S., you've probably been looking forward to today for a few weeks as Monday is Labor Day, which means three-day weekend! In case you were wondering what shenanigans you might get into during the long break, the folks over at Humble Bundle have compiled a selection of Capcom games for the PlayStation 3 and 4, while Microsoft is featuring an "Activision Franchise Sale" for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Similar to its EA Access program on the Xbox One, EA has launched the Origin Access for PC. For the low, low price of $4.99 a month (or €3.99 or £3.99GBP), you'll be able to play the full version of selected EA titles (such as Dragon Age: Inquisition and Dead Space 3), play certain games ahead of their release, and purchase new games at a discounted rate.
For fans of the series, the wait on Battlefield Hardline is now at an end. Released today on March 17th, the game will make its appearance on PC and console for the usual $59.99. It seemed like discounts weren't going to come for this title, but PC gamers are finally getting one this launch week from the UK-based retailer GMG.
The Swedish retailer GamersGate is celebrating its 10th birthday this February by slashing prices across the board. Currently on the price chopping block are the Battlefield series, (including both regular and premium versions of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 3), and Warframe. Sure, Warframe might be a free to pla...

EA is working hard to bring users to its Origin service on PC. There was a lot of negativity around the Steam competitor when it launched several years ago, but EA is making slow and steady strides with both the service and the client.
I like games, but I also like charity and cheap stuff. The team at Humble Bundle appear to have read my mind when they started combining great games and the ability to pay as much (or as little) as you wish between the developer/Humble/charity. The latest bundle includes Dead Space 3 and Burnout Paradise for whatever you wish to pay. You also get Battlefield 3 if you pay a little more than the average.
Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a screening for Dice's big reveal of Battlefield 4 at the Metreon in San Francisco. Upon arrival, everything was pretty hush hush until we were actually seated in a theater. We were told that the trailer we were to see would be pure gameplay. Pure single-player gameplay.
