Just a few days ago, Activision released the first trailer for the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. That thing was scary! I'm still scared. But I need to get over it, because even more Zombies details have arrived. This year's Zombies mode will feature a Guided mode to help ease players into the always-too-hard co-op mode, an optional third-person camera, and more. We're talking about spooky stuff, but it's cool nonetheless.

One of the most exciting aspects of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has to be its Zombies mode. The 4-player online co-op mode will feature a return to round-based gameplay, two new maps, and a suspenseful story. Thanks to today's trailer and official blog post, we now know the Zombies scenario and characters as well.

Call of Duty is a big deal every year, but perhaps never as much as this one, the first year that a new CoD will launch on Game Pass. We don't know yet whether this year's Call of Duty (Black Ops 6) will feature a co-op mode, but they usually do. Microsoft and Activision have announced that the game will be revealed to the world on June 9, so we're hoping to find out some co-op details soon. What's more, Microsoft also announced today that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch. That's a big get for Xbox, and surely one of the reasons that Microsoft bought Activision in the first place.

The latest Zombies map to be added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is called 'Mauer der Toten,' meaning "Wall of the Dead." The Black Ops Cold War Zombies maps are surprisingly story-heavy, and this one sees the members of peacekeeping force Requiem forced to build a warhead to close the Dark Aether portal that was opened in Berlin by traitorous scientist Aleksandra Valentina. We played several co-op games on 'Mauer der Toten,' and we even found out how to unlock the robot, Klaus.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is going to receive a major update this week on January 14th, as the "mid-season update" goes live with the game across all platforms. The zambies are back. The ZAAAAMBIES return. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has released and with it the ever present zombie mode made famous by Call of Duty: World at War. The new flavor of zombies is a lot of the same, but also tweaked to feel decidingly different. 

The third and final chapter in the "Chaos" zombies story has arrived. "Ancient Evil" is now available for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the PlayStation 4 (sometime later for Xbox One and PC), provided you've got a Black Ops Pass. You're headed back to ancient Greece, but rather than a colosseum, you'll be exploring the underground city of Delphi and taking on some mythological beasts.

On Saturday, Treyarch took to Reddit to reveal its plans to celebrate the special day that is January 15 (1/15 -> element 115 the thing what made all dem zambies). Starting right about now, you can earn double character XP, double weapon XP, and double Nebulium Plasma (used to make helpful one-time use elixirs) in the Zombies mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. But that's not all.
