Capcom Arcade Cabinet '1985-II Pack' Now Available on XBLA and PSN

Continuing through the newly released Capcom Arcade Cabinet bundles, we have returned once again to the year 1985 for another dose of retro gaming. Since the first “1985” pack didn’t seem to be enough, the “1985-II Pack” will add Commando, The Speed Rumbler, and Savage Bees to our library of classic Capcom titles. If anyone hasn't experienced any of them before in their lifetime, try out their demos before making any investment.

Reliving the past, a few years at a time

Capcom Arcade Cabinet Games Detailed, Priced

A few weeks back we heard of an upcoming XBLA and PSN offering from Capcom that would offer plenty of co-op and retro fun called the Capcom Arcade Cabinet. The idea behind this was for the Japanese developer to continue its 30th anniversary celebration by re-releasing the classic titles that helped propel it to its current state over XBLA and PSN in an arcade shell. The cabinet itself is just a decorative storefront, of sorts, for the packs of games that are set to release over the coming weeks, but it certainly helps invoke some of those memories of spending your entire allowance on a few games of Ghosts and Goblins or 1942... and then begging for an advance on your next allowance cause you're so close to the last boss!

Capcom Arcade Cabinet to Fill XBLA and PSN with Retro Co-Op

Microsoft's Game Room service for Xbox 360 and PC showed a ton of potential. Gamers could purchase individual arcade and console games from within a snazzy client and play them via the magic of legal emulation. Sadly, most of the games were just plain old as opposed to classics, and Microsoft stopped releasing games just as things were starting to pick up. Conspicuously absent were Capcom's phenomenal arcade games... But now Capcom's set to launch its own emulation client, Capcom Arcade Cabinet: Retro Game Collection.
