The first expansion to Destiny 2 arrived this week, and we decided to take a little bit of time Tuesday night to check it out. The "Curse of Osiris" added a whole new area (Mercury), a new public space, and some new activities for those who are interested, and while we didn't get a chance to look at them all, we did run through the "Infinite Forest" a few times.

It's been an interesting past couple months for Destiny 2. Between the lack of a compelling endgame to which to return and the recent XP brouhaha, the loot shooter has gotten a little bit of a black eye. Bungie is hoping to turn things around this month with the new "Curse of Osiris" DLC that hits today (thereby adding more content), and a big update planned for next Tuesday that will address some of the game's underlying issues.

While the trailer for the first expansion to Destiny 2, "Curse of Osiris," was shown during Sony's press event at Paris Games Week, more details always have a habit of coming out once the big reveal is over. This time, though, it seems there isn't too much else to share.
