After the word hit this past May that Disney was closing down Avalanche Software and ceasing further production/development of its Disney Infinity franchise, it was only a matter of time before they laid out their plans to bring down all of the online infrastructure. Disney recently announced that there will be no "4.0" version of their popular toys-to-life title, Disney Infinity, at least for another year. Rather than going through another upgrade that forces fans to purchase new Starter Kits, the title will remain the 3.0 edition a little while longer.
