Happy first lunch break of the week, CST people! I hope you brought enough to share with everyone. Let's get our Co-Op Release Alert on!
We finally have a release date for the PlayStation 3 version of Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. The Doctor and his companion will be landing in the year 2012, on May 23rd to be exact. You'll be able to download the game via PSN or, if you're in the UK, pick up a retail copy on May 25th.
Time is irrelevant for The Doctor, so this delay is merely a rearrangement in the Doctor's schedule. According to the official Twitter account for Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, the game has been delayed slightly to put the finishing touches on things. Originally slated for a late March release, the game is now firmly into April, though a specific date was not given.
Doctor Who fans rejoice! The Doctor and River Song will be teaming up in an action/platformer on the PS3, Vita and PC with an all new story written by in colloboration with the BBC Wales team. Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will feature both Matt Smith (The Doctor) and Alex Kingston (River) who are lending their voices to the game which takes place across four separate timelines in London. Your little blue police box will take you into the Elizabethan, Victorian, and present eras as well as traveling to the future.
