Last year, Arc System Works released Double Dragon Advance and Super Double Dragon on all major platforms, allowing fans to experience two of the best games in the Double Dragon series on modern hardware. At the same time, they quietly published Double Dragon Collection for the Nintendo Switch in Asian markets. While that version has been available to import for a while, collectors now have the chance to preorder an official North American version from Limited Run Games.

Do you ever watch a trailer for a vintage inspired game and think it does not provide enough information?  Well, fear not as the new trailer for Double Dragon IV waxes lyrical on the game's paper thin premise and vast array of enemy types.

Less than a month ago, Arc System Works announced that the all-new Double Dragon IV would be coming to PlayStation 4 and PC at the end of January. The teaser trailer revealed that the new game would use sprites from the NES games, but little else. Fast forward a bit, and now we have solid details and screenshots that reveal the scope of Double Dragon IV.

Hard to believe that Billy and his brother Jimmy are turning 30 years old this year. To celebrate the occasion, Arc System Works is releasing a brand new game for the Lee brothers: Double Dragon IV. Rather than go for the modern animated look of Neon, this one is going decidedly retro.
