Our latest Monday Night Stream takes a look at the recently released co-op Action-RPG - Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance. The game recently was released on Xbox One and Series S/X, PC, and PlayStation 4 and 5, billed as a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance from the original Xbox era of video games. 

One of the bigger nostalgia trips for gamers of a certain age/generation is the Dark Alliance series, which had their heyday in the PS2/Original Xbox/Gamecube era. These action-RPGs provided a Diablo-like experience long before Diablo III was even a twinkle in Blizzard's eye. Today, a new entry, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, has emerged for PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/Series, and initial response is... well, it's not great.

Last week, Geoff Keighley held the fifth annual Game Awards where games and developers were honored. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice won the "Game of the Year" award (and "Best Action/Adventure Game"), Luigi's Mansion 3 won "Best Family Game" (the co-op is good), and Destiny 2 won "Best Community Support." Amidst all that, there were also some big announcements, including the reveal of the next generation of Xbox.
