What could possibly better than over the top, blades flying, four player online action?  How about more of the same, for the low, low price of free (for Gold members)?  A DLC pack for Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce is now available, and includes three new quests: Battle of Ru Xu Kou, Linked Chains Plan, and Martial Contest 2.  Nick seemed to think highly of the game, and the changes to the franchise, as you can read about in his review.  You can queue up the DLC right here.  Don't have the game?  Try out the demo and see if some kitten slashing is right for you.

A little while back we posted a video from Koei's upcoming XBox 360 and PS3 port of Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce that featured giant tigers, dogs, and phoenixes.  Apparently that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to mammoth denizens in the ancient world of China.  The latest video shows a few of these brobdingnagian baddies, discusses missions, and focuses on the importance of taking down your foes with a few buddies along.

We've been following Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce for sometime now, touting the game's online four player co-op mode.  Today we have a video walkthrough provided by Koei which showcases something completely brand new to the franchise, the City.

Another Tecmo character has joined the Koei game Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce.  This time it's Ayane from the Dead or Alive series, who as you can see from the above screenshot, is looking for Ryu - who was announced in the game last week.

Someone got Ninja Gaiden in my Dynasty Warriors.  The latest screenshots for the four player co-op Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce reveals Ryu Hayabusa from Tecmo Games making an appearance in Koei's franchise.  Whether he's playable or not is yet to be seen, but we can only hope we'll soon be attacking giant tigers with our friends as Ryu.

Lets face it, the world has a big problem on its hands.  There's an over population of giant evil Tigers, huge man eating Phoenixes, and fire breathing Dogs with big horns.  The only thing to do is to call upon ancient Chinese generals and give them magical powers to defeat these creatures.

The console version of Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce offers 40 exclusive quests over the PSP version, and we have 12 new screenshots of those 40 quests in action.  The Dynasty Warriors Franchise has been going strong since the launch of the PlayStation 2, and the latest title features a first for the series: four player online co-op.
