No matter what criticism can be leveraged at ARK: Survival Evolved, you certainly can't say the game isn't unique.

If we're all being honest with one another, this is a day that felt like it was just a matter of time. 2K has announced that Evolve Stage 2 will be shutdown on September 3, 2018.

Microsoft continues to please owners of the Xbox One with more additions to its Backwards Compatibility program, with the most recent members of the family being a slew of Halo titles, including Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 (Disc Version only).

Ark: Survival Evolved will be seeing a full launch, complete with physical releases on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, come August 8th, 2017. The game has been featured in Steam’s Early Access program since June 2nd, 2015 and the Xbox Game Preview program since December of 2015. Finally, Ark made its way to PlayStation 4 in December 2016.

Turtle Rock has revealed that it will be working with publisher Perfect World to develop its next IP. The game will have "strong dark fantasy elements" and also be a co-op FPS like their previous titles (Left 4 Dead and Evolve), but it will also be free-to-play, as Evolve Stage 2 became.
