As physical game collectors wait patiently for Limited Run's versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (also preorderable at Best Buy), European imprints Signature Edition Games and Merge Games have just released their own standard and special editions of Shredder's Revenge for all platforms. What's more, these European editions can also be ordered and shipped worldwide, so now you've got another thing to collect, Turtles fans!

This past Monday, Locke and Jason checked out a new cooperative game that, per the developer, draws inspiration from titles like Monaco and X-Com. Signal Decay is a top-down, stealth rogue-lite that's got a lot going on, and I think much of it is good, but definitely needs a little polishing up.

By the end of March, we will not be in short supply of "loot shooters." Destiny 2 has seen a resurgence thanks to the "Forsaken" expansion and the steady roll-out of content ever since, Bioware's Anthem drops in just a couple weeks, and Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is just a month away from hitting the scene. If the latter's more "realistic" take on the genre (i.e., you're not shooting lasers or flying around in mech suits), and want to check it out before March 15, then you've got a little bit of time to try and get into the Private Beta that starts tomorrow.

If you've wrapped up the spring hits and wondering what you'll do in the next couple months before the next Madden title sounds the horn of Fall releases, then the folks over at GOG.com would like to entice you with a big Summer Sale. I mean, big. 1300 titles big. And hey, we've even gone through and put together a little co-op collection for all you co-op lovers out there.

Yesterday, Nintendo held one of their "Nindies Showcases" to highlight some of the titles that will be headed to the Switch over the next few months. There are a few stand-out single-player games (like Mark of the Ninja Remastered, The Messenger, and Banner Saga 3), but, of course, we were more focused on the co-op games. Help guide a fallen star home in Pode, dodge shapes to the rhythm of phat beats in Just Shapes and Beats, or decide the fate of your kingdom in Reigns: Kings and Queens.

Piece of Cake Studios has announced that Hacktag, their asymmetrical, 2-player co-op stealth puzzle game, will be hitting Steam Early Access on May 18th. To kick things off, a closed beta is scheduled for May 11th to give curious players a chance to experience the game for themselves. Registration for the beta is currently open (you can sign up on their website).

Early on in Halo Wars 2, I kept getting the feeling that I had lived this all before in an almost dream-like way. I played through campaign mission after mission, trying to shake the feeling and find my 'Ah-ha!' moment that would set the game apart, letting me tell my friends and associates of the special moments I wanted to share with...

Last night we dove into Satellite Reign and it's co-op mode (developer interview here) While the co-op is in beta form right now, when it works, its works extremely well. It offers a satisfying experience of strategy, action, and careful execution. Usually all of that is proceeded by a lot of tom foolery and neon lights. 

Here is a quick tip for anyone out there who fears we might have tumbled into a dystopian Cyberpunk future while everybody was asleep: is any part of your attire glowing? If you answered "no" to this question, congratulations! The world might still frighten the pants off of you, but at least you aren't destined for a life of horrible drudgery in the Conception Machine. If "yes," then you'd better start brushing up on your E-Brain Hacking skills; they'll come in handy! Oh, and warn your friends to watch out for the Synapse Cops.

Satellite Reign was launched on Kickstarter in late 2013, and it easily met its funding goal of $530,000 by raising over $700,000. But it never quite made it to some of the stretch goals, the biggest of which was a million dollar goal for online co-op. The game released back in August of 2015 on Steam after an early access period and so far garnered over a 1000 positive reviews, meeting expectations of both the players and developer 5 Lives.

That's right, show off your love for red, white, and blue with a green Sackboy costume of a well-known American lady. Incoming tomorrow, July 3rd, LittleBigPlanet will make a special "Sacktue of Liberty" DLC costume available...

Previously, the mass multiplayer/co-op title, Happy Wars was only available to Gold Members on Xbox LIVE. However, this week is an exception! All players who log onto LIVE will be able to take a crack at the game until Friday night, with a new mode to finish out the promotion.
