The formerly single-player driving game gets its co-op mode at last.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game Gets Online Co-op on Steam

Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game is a spinoff of the Mudrunner and Snowrunner series from Focus Entertainment. This one launched as a single-player game, but online co-op was always a promised feature. That promise has come to pass in the latest update for the Steam version, adding 4-player online co-op. PC players can now explore mountains, forests, and other exotic locales together as a driving team.

New Team Sonic Racing Videos From SXSW

At the recent South By Southwest Conference and Festivals (SXSW for short), SEGA had 3 new videos to show off a range of features and goodies for the forthcoming Team Sonic Racing. The first two videos focus on in-game content, including different ways to cosmetically customize your racing vehicle and some deeply catchy remixes. The final video is a bit different as it is the first episode of  “Team Sonic Racing: Overdrive,” an animated series set in the same context as the game.

The Crew Features Co-Op Racing and a Massive World to Explore

Announced during the hubbub that was E3 2013, The Crew is shaping up to be one extraordinary game. In development by Ivory Tower studios and published by Ubisoft, the game is a persistent online racer built from the ground-up with social and co-op play in mind. Join in, team up, complete missions and head out for a drive across the USA. But here's the real kicker: the game's world is over 3,100 square miles (5,000 km) in size. The New York map alone is as big as Liberty City from Grand Theft Auto IV. So when you do fancy that drive, you'd better be settled in for the long haul.

Disney Infinity's Toy Box Mode Shows Off a New Racing Mode

When we think of a racing game made up entirely of beloved characters, we’d mostly certainly think of a Mario Kart first. Well, think about those games with around 100 times more customizable options and replaced with Disney characters; you’ll get the newly introduced mode in Disney Infinity. More than just a world creator, Toy Box Mode’s new ‘Racing’ component will also allow player to build elaborate raceways and obstacle courses for others to enjoy within the game.

Newly Released 'Pressure' Provides Positively Silly, Action-Racer Co-op for Shooter Lovers

I reminisced about Hanna-Barbera cartoons the other day, looking back on all the kooky stuff they put forth over the years. One that really stood out from the rest was this show called “Wacky Races”, where a dozen unique car racers used various slapstick devices to run each other off the road and win the race. Flash forward to today and I recently was notified of a new co-op racing game called “Pressure” that captured that same sort of wackiness the show brought. German-based, independent studio, Chasing Carrots, aimed to make Pressure a unique, fun 2-player experience due to their passion for co-op gaming.
