Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken was one of those titles that slipped past the radar of a lot of people, but it was a fairly solid co-op action platformer with some fun mechanics. The developer recently announced on the European PlayStation blog that a sequel, Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, is in the works and brings with it some needed enhancements.
The various game bundles doing the rounds in recent years have been great for fans of cheap gaming, but also fans of charity. We have featured Humble Bundles before and once again they have released the co-op goodies in Humble Indie Bundle 9. Pay as much as you like for Trine 2, but pay over the average (currently standing at $4.70) to get a whole lot more, including more co-op games.
Killing large amounts of evil, totalitarian penguins is back! Like we covered late last year, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken will be arriving onto PlayStation Vita early next week.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is coming to the PlayStation Vita. The little action platformer was more entertaining than I expected, offering a fun distraction on the PSN. The cooperative campaign is a simple pick up and play affair. The game should be right at home on Sony's handheld.
Ratloop just loves launching their Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken games in October. First the Playstation network version debuted October last year, and now the PC version has just launched on Steam. Somebody tell them how crowded the season is! That's alright, though. PC players can finally engage in the action-platformer's 10-stage co-op campaign or the separate 15-mission single-player campaign. What's more, the PC version adds online co-op on top of the previous version's local co-op.
Almost a year after its PlayStation Network release, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is coming to PC. This little side-scrolling shooter features a single player story mode wrought with evil birds, bizarre flashbacks, soaring jetpacks, and blazing guns. It also includes a separate co-op campaign that supports two local players. It's simple and fun, and the two player co-op adds some interesting elements to the platforming. You can read more about it in our Co-Op Review.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is a fun little platformer that began as a Flash game, made it to the PlayStation Network, and will be coming to Steam later this year. The PSN and upcoming Steam versions offer both a single player and cooperative campaign. I decided to take it for a spin before the fall gaming rush eclipses all but the most overhyped titles.
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is coming to PC via Steam later this fall. If the following promotional video is to be believed, this is one heck of a game I've overlooked. It's a 2D shooter which features Hardboiled, a super bad chicken who's on a mission to kill the evil penguins who have taken over Albatropolis.
The PSN was updated with a nice selection of games this week. One title that may have slipped under your radar is Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken. This launch trailer tells you almost everything you need to know. Guns, chickens, jetpacks, and a semblance of a plot makes an appearance. There's even a nod to the separate co-op mode at the end of the trailer.
Happy Monday, folks! This week we have a very nice selection of PlayStation 3 co-op titles, along with some fine multiplatform offerings. Stay tuned to Co-Optimus for Co-Op Reviews on all of these upcoming cooperative titles.
