Somewhere out there is a person playing The Crew 2 and thinking, "Sure, all this open-world racing is great or whatever, but what I really want is the sensation of drifting into a hairpin turn while also swatting at a horde of bloodthirsty mosquitoes."  Luckily for this hypothetical person, they'll only need to wait a little over a month for their wish to come true, as the "Gator Rush" update will be hitting The Crew 2 on September 26th.

We heard that there would be an Open Beta for The Crew 2 heading our way soon, and today Ubisoft revealed when it will arrive. You can get your hands on The Crew 2 starting next Thursday, June 21 and it will wrap up on Monday, June 25.

As The Crew 2 gets ready to release later this month, the steady stream of gameplay details and videos continue. The guys at Outside Xtra captured some of their time in the recent closed beta, so enjoy nineteen minutes of uninterrupted co-op gameplay that starts with driving in a car, transitions into an airplane, and finishes by taking the role of the worst-suited vehicle for a land race; a boat.

The Crew 2 features a number of different real-world vehicles, ranging from Harley-Davidson motorcycles to Mercedes-Benz cars. In the latest video, Ubisoft shows off the Jaguar motorboats that players can look forward to when the game releases on June 29th, 2018 across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

It looks like Ubisoft is really pushing the ability to fly/drive/boat your way across not-quite-America in The Crew 2.  Admittedly, it looks like a lot of fun, assuming everything works as smoothly as you'd hope, and even if it doesn't, there are lots of hijinx to be had in watching your boat slam into the streets of Detroit from 200 yards in the air.

Fresh off the Gamescom 2017 presses, Ubisoft announced to the world that they'll be releasing their open world driving game, The Crew 2, on March 16th of next year.  There are lots of other details, like pre-order bonuses and beta opportunities, but let's talk briefly about what exactly The Crew 2 will entail.

January is a long month waiting for payday and counting the pennies.  Good news for gamers who still have a little cash and Xbox Live Gold.  Far Cry 4 is one of several games on offer this week including Grand Theft Auto 5 and The Crew, but with 60% off it is the definite highlight.

Right in the middle of Ubisoft's E3 conference, somewhere between Aisha Tyler's meme jokes and new South Park footage, we learned that The Crew is getting its first full expansion.  Dubbed "Wild Run", it'll be diving into the more niche areas of car culture by introducing new events and vehicle types.  As is apparently tradition at this year's E3, it'll be coming out this November, specifically the 17th.

The "Raid" is finally coming to The Crew!  Unfortunately, this isn't a tie-in to the movie sharing the same name, a la Forza Horizon 2's "Fast & Furious", but how cool would that be?  Even if I didn't get to control them, I would pay good money to see two Indonesian dudes' gunfight eventually turn into a full bout of fisticuffs on top of my Volkswagen.
