The Best Co-Op Games on the 2018 Steam Summer Sale

The 2018 Steam Summer Sale is underway with an alien theme (cards and mini-game) to enjoy. As usual, just about the entire site is on sale right now which means you can get a lot of great PC games for a little bit of cash. We've combed through the titles, picked some from our Curator Store, and picked what we felt are the top 10 best deals in co-op gaming on Steam right now.

Free game update allows you to "deal" with Death

Dungeon of the Endless Update is Halloween Themed

It's that time of year when your favorite games drop in new content that is in some way, shape, or form, Halloween-themed. Such is the case with the free "Death Gamble" update to the cooperative dungeon crawler/defense title, Dungeon of the Endless, which adds a literal Death to the game (as opposed to the one against which you're figuratively battling throughout) that will offer players a very "special" deal.

New/free content thanks to community support

Update to Dungeon of The Endless Adds TF2 Characters

If you tuned into our Monday night stream this week, you may have noticed we were playing some new characters in the cooperative roguelike/dungeon crawler, Dunegon of the Endless. Developer Amplitude Studios added the familiar Team Fortress 2 characters to the game for FREE; that's right, if you own the game, just fire it up and play as the Pyro, Heavy, Medic, or Engineer.

Spreading the Endless

New Dev Diaries for Dungeon Of The Endless; Coming to Xbox One

Just because Dungeon of the Endless escaped the eternal imprisonment of Steam's Early Access program doesn't mean Amplitude Studios is content to leave it be. They're still slaving away in the Update Mines, cranking out some new ideas that bubbled up from the pulsating hive-mind of the Games2Gether community project. Seeing as how Dungeon won our very own Indie Game of the Year award for 2014 despite being a rather late entry, I'm looking forward to new content. Though the "new content" might very  well result in a very sudden and acid-related end for our stranded heroes.

The 2014 Co-Op Game of the Year Awards

It's time once again for our Co-Op Game of the Year Awards. We look back at 2014 as a fairly mediocre year in terms of co-op game. While we had high hopes for many games, there were no true must have stand-outs. That's not to say there weren't some great games, it's just compared to previous years this one seems slightly more forget...

Dungeon of the Endless Co-Op Review

A lot of games today tend to mix genres, it’s rare to see a straight shooter with no RPG elements or an RTS that doesn’t also utilize some elements of tower defense. But what is rare today is to find a game that does it so seamlessly and well that it almost creates a new genre in itself. It’s because of this, Dungeon of the Endles...

A careful blend of many elements.

Dungeon of the Endless Co-Op Overview

Dungeon of the Endless may have been out on Steam Early access for a long time, which probably both helped and hurt the title at the same time. On one hand it gave the game plenty of time to bake in the oven and garner player feedback, on the other, it makes it that much harder to hit critical mass. Last night we checked out the latest build of the game in online two player co-op. So how is it?
