Return to Moria will come to Xbox and Steam on the same day the Golden Update hits all platforms.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Comes to Xbox and Steam With Cross-play on August 27

Since it arrived on PlayStation and Epic last year, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria from Free Range Games and North Beach Games has amassed a dedicated following among survival game enthusiasts. Return to Moria allows players to become dwarven warriors and craftsmen who must reclaim the ruined mines of Moria. At long last, the game will finally arrive on Xbox Series S|X and Steam on August 27. That same day, the "Golden Update" will deliver cross-play co-op to all versions of the game.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Is Now Available on PlayStation 5 and PC

We're always excited for the chance to return to Middle Earth, even if the style and quality of the games based on Tolkein's LOTR universe vary wildly. The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria from Free Range Games and North Beach Games first launched on the Epic Games Store for PC, and now the PlayStation 5 version is finally available as well. Are you ready to descend into the mines of Moria with your online co-op friends?

Players will form a team of dwarves and strive to survive in the dark mines.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Will Dig Into Consoles and PC This Fall

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria from Free Range Games and North Beach Games is a real "monkey's paw" situation. We wished for a new cooperative LOTR game, and we're getting one! That's good. But it will be a survival/crafting game in which players have to manage hunger and all that busywork. Not as good! Still, the game has a strong premise and a cool universe to its name, so we'll keep an open mind. Also, whereas Return to Moria was initially announced for PC only,  it will now be launching on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles too!

Maybe not a faithful one-to-one recreation of the tabletop version, but a pretty fun reimagining

LOTR: Adventure Card Game Stream Recap and Impressions

The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game (formerly The Living Card Game) saw its full release on the PC a couple weeks ago, so for this week's "Let's Play Co-Op" stream, Tally and Jason dove in to see how this interpretation fairs against the tabletop version.

Little bit less excited than before, but still eager to try this out

[E3 2019] - The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game Gets Name Change, Release Date

About a year and a half ago, we heard that Asmodee Digital was working on bringing Fantasy Flight's The Lord of the Rings: Living Card Game to PC and Mac sometime in 2018. It was delayed a bit, and has a new name, but The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game will be arriving soon on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch this August!

Are we sure they're actually gone? Maybe they just put on the One Ring...

Two LEGO Lord of the Rings Games Delisted from Digital Marketplaces

Happy 2019 everyone! Hope folks enjoyed their holidays and are ready for another exciting year in gaming. Let's kick things off with some joy- oh... well, err... ok, some not happy news. FEAR for Batman and the Lord of the Rings

Tell Your Friends, All Your Friends, I am the Warner Brothers Humble Bundle

Robin Hood was sort of a superhero of his day, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor, whilst roaming around the forest in a pair of tights.  You could be a little hero yourself by giving some money to the WB Humble Bundle on Steam and getting F.E.A.R. 3The Lord of the Rings: War in the North and a Batman game or two, for as much as you like.

Tabletop Co-Op: Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

The Lord of the Rings saga has always been popular, but perhaps never before has it been as mainstream as it is now. A decade ago, the movie trilogy brought orcs, elves, and dwarves into theaters and then our living rooms as never before. Later this year, the long delayed film based on the Hobbit will be released. For Tabletop Co-Op this month, we'll look at a card game based on Tolkien's magnificent setting.

LOTR: War in the North Launch Trailer Looks Amazing

Every time I write off The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, another awesome trailer pulls me back into the Tolkien hype machine.  This latest video has got it all: maps, rings, fire, eyes, eyes on fire, and undead horseys, all in the first thirteen seconds!  Choose your ranger, elf, or dwarf and get to troll stabbin'.  You had better bring some friends.  It looks like Agandaur has been eating his electrified Wheaties, because his force lightning looks bad-ass.  Strength, courage, fellowship!
