We love Typing of The Dead: Overkill's wacky style. When the original launched, typing phrases like "Ample buxom" and "Is it too late to shake hands" always had us giggle as we shot off the heads of various zombies. Then the Shakespeare DLC was released and we were suddenly trading horses for zombies heads (instead of kingdoms) all while washing blood off our hands. When things couldn't get any better, the Silver Screen DLC dropped and we were typing our favorite one liners from Apocalypse Now and Die Hard. Just when we thought developer Modern Dream reached the top, they go one step further. 

Speaking of The Typing of the Dead: Overkill (We did, last week. Do you even listen when we talk about our favorite things? You're just like your mother!), the Humble Weekly Sale is up and running, and it's filled with all things SEGA. Since Overkill is a SEGA game, you can get your hands on the cooperative zombie-killing typing game for just a few bucks!

Zombies are weak to four things: healing spells, fire, piercing blows to the general skull area, and perfectly typed phrases. The Typing of the Dead: Overkill, a modernized take on the original Typing of the Dead, opts for the latter. The latest piece of DLC is packed full of movie quotes for that extra anti-undead one-two punch!

Typing of the Dead: Overkill was released just in time for Halloween. The PC game takes the Wii and PS3 shooter House of the Dead: Overkill and puts a keyboard in your hand as a weapon. By typing words you kill zombies, cool - yeah? Sadly the game was missing the multiplayer component at launch - but that's here now. And so is the first piece of DLC.

Put down the gun and trim those fingernails. Typing of the Dead: Overkill is here to make you laugh, scream, and cry – all in the name of typing. Now available on Steam, this gore-filled typing game (simulator?) offers hours of entertainment, with co-op coming down the road in the form of free DLC.
