The popular Teen Titans spellcaster and the Adventure Time vampire are MultiVersus' newest cast members.

Raven and Marceline Coming to MultiVersus on November 12

Since MultiVersus fully launched in May, the game has gone through 3 "seasons," adding new characters and content around a seasonal battle pass. Season 4 is due to start on November 12, and it will add Raven, a fan-favorite character from Teen Titans, and Marceline, the vampire queen from Adventure Time to the roster of unlockable characters. The update also promises a new team-based competitive mode called Arena and two new maps.

Hopefully, Xbox Series S|X players will experience less stutters and disconnects now.

MultiVersus V1.2 Update Improves Xbox Performance and More

When Warner Bros' and Player First's MultiVersus fully launched in May, the game was not without technical issues. Frame rate stutters and "desync" errors (disconnects) have occasionally marred an otherwise enjoyable Super Smash Bros.-style fighting experience. Thankfully, the version 1.2 update that arrived this week aims to address these issues, hopefully bringing an improved experience to all.

The Smash Bros.-style fighter is back. Is the world ready for it?

MultiVersus Officially Launches With New Characters and Co-op Campaign

After a yearlong absence, Warner Bros. and Player First's Smash Bros.-style fighting game, MultiVersus, has returned. The game's full launch today follows an open beta period in 2022-2023 and a period of not being available. Now that it's back, MultiVersus has new characters (Joker, Jason Vorhees, and Banana Guard), new environments, and the exciting new cooperative Rifts mode. MultiVersus is free to play, so now is a great time to try it out.

The Warner Bros. characters will soon be back to smash each other once again!

MultiVersus Will Return and Fully Launch on May 28

You could be forgiven for having forgotten this, but Warner Bros. and Player First Games released a Super Smash Bros.-style fighting game called MultiVersus back in 2022. The game was in open beta status back then. Surprisingly, Warner Bros. shut down the beta entirely in June 2023, and things have been silent since then. That changes this year, thank goodness, because MultiVersus will be back and fully launched in May. It will even include a new PvE mode, which hopefully means more co-op support.

Update: Co-op issues have been resolved.

The MultiVersus Open Beta is Here, and Co-op is Now Working Smoothly

MultiVersus is a highly anticipated free-to-play Super Smash Bros.-style fighting game from Warner Bros. After a closed beta period followed by an early access period for premium bundle owners, the open beta has arrived. What should be a celebratory launch day has been somewhat mired, however, by what appears to be a broken party system. Update: Thankfully, the party and co-op issues were resolved by the next day.

Form your own WB dream team and pummel computer players together.

MultiVersus Now Available in Early Access, Goes Free to Play on July 26

There once was a movie called Space Jam: A New Legacy that combined numerous Warner Bros. characters and properties. It's a very bad movie that should be avoided at all costs! However, the idea of mixing WB properties together clearly has some appeal, hence the new Smash Bros.-style fighting game, MultiVersus. Players who buy any premium edition of MultiVersus can play it right now, but the game will officially launch in free to play form on July 26.

Who deserves your gaming dollar?

Battlefield 3 vs Modern Warfare 3: The Co-Op Showdown

Before this fall started there was a battle heating up on the gaming front. It was a battle of military shooters - Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3. Activision entered the contest as the reigning champion, their franchise selling millions of copies each year across all three platforms; Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. But EA wanted to challenge the dominance with their own storied franchise with BF3. We take a look at both games and ask - "Did their co-op promises deliver?"
